We must ban asbestos from further use anywhere in the world but we must also remember we live with it. It is not a good idea to remove it because that causes disturbance. Locate it through testing and then manage it in-place. There will be a need to remove friable materials that can't be painted or repaired so remember to help them understand what they can do to protect their families. Johnny O. Perea Foundation for Asbestos Education & Relief is a non-profit that helps people one on one. We are also pushing for required education for future generations in the United States of America. This is a history/survival lesson that must be taught. Together let's put an end to the asbestos saga.
